Occasionally, the result would vary .2 lbs, but over the course of several measurements I got pretty consistent weights. The fact that the Troy plates(the only ones with a name brand on them, and possibly the calibrated variety) both weighed exactly 45 lbs leads me to believe the scale should be fairly accurate.
Cool, thanks! I'm going to repeat the experiment with mine and will post results

This plate talk made me curious about what I actually have, so I took inventory...

    100's - 2
    45's - 14
    35's - 12
    25's - 12
    10's - 16
    5's - 10
    2.5's - 8
    1.25's - 4

For a grand total of 1,785 pounds of plates.

I have 2 35s and they collect dust. Having hundos would be cool.
Yep, I have a hard time turning down a good deal on Iron, and they work great for deficits when I don't want to stand on something.
I also use them for pulldowns and low pulley rows.

I plan to sell my four 35's, 2 of my four 25's, and 6 of my 45's to help fund 6 calibrated 45's. So selling 460 lbs and hope to get at least $300 out of that. $430 or so for the calibrated 45's, so I only need to shell out about $130, although I would really like to end up with 10 45's short term, and 12 within a year or less, as I hope to need them by then.

I hope you never have to move. I don't have half of that, but I'm dreading having to move all my 45s.

Moving would suck. I hope to fall over dead while doing heavy deadlifts, just like Jon Pall.

Have you ever weighed them, Shug? Be curious to see if you already had hit some PR's and just weren't aware of it....

25's and above are all matched pairs. Some of my PR's are higher because of the heavier 45's (47's & 46's), but I don't count those.
