    Due to current Chinese Red Death COVID Bat flu virus, York is having a sale. I want to go York out of nostalgia, and I think York Legacy is the way to go. Change my mind.

    starting strength coach development program
    No real advice here, just a fun memory.

    15-20 years ago the Head strength coach that I worked under told me a story about when he coached a kid from Ole Miss who was preparing for Pro Day. This is back before S&C coaches were getting paid handsomely at D1 schools and the weight rooms were still dungeons, the amenities were not really part of the recruiting process just yet. Anyway, they went and weighed every single bar and 45 lbs plate in the room and marked the lightest ones. When it came time for the 225 bench he was actually using about 215! Maybe it added a couple of reps!
