A rusted? old looking Texas Power bar, apparently Mac version, on sale for $150.

Does anyone know about this version of the Texas power bar?
I believe it might be 28.5mm, instead of 29mm like Ohio Power bars, but wasn't sure.

    Thanks for the advice.
Do you know if the bar is 28 or 28.5 or 29mm?

Oh I've seen that link but I missed that 1.125".
So that should be 2.8575 cm, or most likely, 28.5mm.

That's one of the original Texas Power Bars. Far superior to the newer models. If it's straight, it's worth the $150.

This is true. It's also rare. I would pay the $150 and leave work to get it. That barbell is as historic as the vintage York bars, but infinitely harder to find.

Edit: it has lots of patina on it (brown, not red). Patina is good. Patina is years of work and sweat that have chemically reacted with the steel to form a beautiful and protective layer. It does look like the knurling has a little rust (red) in it. Be very gentle with removing it if possible. WD-40 and a hand-held brass brush should take care of it.

I already picked up the York B&R 32006 bar for a good price ($145) so I'll have to pass up on this one.
This bar seems to be a connoisseur item, but I would rather have a slightly newer (less patina on the B&R) 29mm bar.
