Belt tightness and cramps on the press
I occaisionally have my abdominal muscles cramp up during higher effort press sets. In particular, the obliques. I can wear my belt 1 notch tighter than when I'm squatting and I think this increases the odds of a cramp occurring. I have not cramped when I've done a beltless variation.
Question: Is this a plausible correlation? Have you seen this before?
