I do kettlebell swings a couple times per week, as Sean mentioned, for conditioning purposes. (HIIT)
I feel that they have complemented my SS / Barbell Prescription training well, without leaving me depleted for my next training session.
I don't use them for anything else other than warm-ups.
I do some swings to warm up. I also like them for conditioning .
