I agree -- if I'm too sweaty to use a pencil, I'm definitely wouldn't do better with a touch-screen. Sweat's never been a problem, but sometimes I get so gassed that fine motor skills start to suffer. In those situations, using my phone would be impossible whereas using a pencil is merely hard.
Brilliant! This is the solution! I didn't know there were waterproof notebooks...
That wouldn't work for me - I go in with a plan, but my warmup sets do vary, and sometimes the plan goes to #*$&, get a call from work or wife... Especially squat, where I do 45s until I'm consistently hitting depth (which I can't do cold).
Unfortunately, the sweat issue doesn't come from my hands - it's droplets from my bald head that get soaked up then the pages start sticking together... I make sweat at a remarkable rate - sometimes it gets in my eyes and my vision gets blurry...

I kept a paper log for decades. Now, I transcribe the day's weights and reps prescribed on my phone and the results when I'm done and record it in my log here. My phone is smaller and easier to slip into a pocket. I also started recording weight, sets, and reps for decades. Changing would tear apart the fabric of the universe.
Both of which are contradictory and anomalous for a 68 year old guy who only started using a smartphone two years ago.
Oh well.
Get the Strong App. it would work well for you, and keep a paper log as well. fill it with data from app.
I write everything down before I start the warmup.
Then I do what is written.
I never log my warmup, this should be completely unnecessary.
Warmup is irrelevant, it's not part of the training volume, and it can vary due to circumstances.
