    Default Double Knee Replacent

And 2016 I had two needs replaced. Has anyone had experience with working with someone who had knee replacement and following starting strength methods? I am 45 years old and have trained before. I wonder if there are unavoidable deficits with a double TKR surgery. I do not have knee pain anymore.

I have worked with plenty of patients following joint replacement surgery. There is no reason why you cannot successfully strength train following total knee replacement provided you start light and build up slowly. Currently, there is no data to indicate that resistance training is in any way harmful to the artificial joint. I hope that helps!

My idiot buddy Phil Anderson deadlifted 600 at 11 months post-op on bi-lateral knees. I advised against it, but he did it anyway.
