    Hello collegues,
I need you advice. I have mild, almost nonexisting inguinal hernia. I barely feel it when having cough or constipation. I feel nothing when lifting, wrestling, punching and so.
I see there any different ways to get fixed. Which is best and takes less time to recover.
Lifting is my life. I know Mark got fixed. I'm scared as f,,,,. I know a guy who got fixed 15 y ago with some kind of biomaterial mesh, but he is feeling it which is disturbing.

    Thank you friends

When it needs to be fixed -- it doesn't now -- you will get a double mesh repair. Why are you scared as fuck? Are you in the UK on the BPHS?

I'm scared because I shall skip lifting for unidentified period of time.
    Any recommendations about recovery, Mark?

Years from now, when the surgery becomes necessary, you will lay off about 10 days and then start back light, ramping up to your numbers over about 3 weeks.

Is it better to fix it with or without mesh because the doc told me the hole is quiet little. I don't believe in doctors at all. God bless you Mark

This. I had a small inguinal hernia fixed about 5 years ago in my late 40's. It was never painful, but it was visually noticeable. The doctor went ahead and did the double mesh repair while he was in there.

    Really no big deal.

It was the least trouble I've ever had with a surgery.
