    Thanks for your critique Rip, your advice helped. I dropped the elbows, narrowed the grip and did experience a slight reduction in pain. MRI revealed severe stenosis in the cervical spine, need to get a look at thoracic and lumbar. Only doing squat once per week for now. Deadlift is the only lift which is progressing without problems.

    Why get an MRI on thoracic and lumbar spine if your symptoms are cervical? Will it change how you train?
