    Default Iron Plates

Hello, I am going to be setting up a garage gym at my home this summer. I plan on setting up like an SS gym to the extent my budget will allow me. I do not want bumpers...just iron plates. Is there a specific brand/store where someone can recommend getting them?
    Thanks,

Rep Fitness basic iron: +/- 3% accuracy
Rogue basic, Troy Premium, Rep Equalizer: +/-2%
    Rogue Machined: +2/-0%
    Rogue 6 shooter: +/- 1%
Rogue calibrated, Vulcan calibrated: +/- 10g

Check shipping to determine best value in price. What part of the country you live in can affect which is best after shipping charge. Also Vulcan calibrated is free shipping if bought as a set.

Hi Mad, here are the plates we use at the franchise gyms (Rogue machined). As wsmoran indicated, the tolerances are tight. We also picked them because they're handsome and have a nice lip that makes them easy to handle.

I set up my home gym with the franchise gear too (two racks). It's a damn good training experience. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. And supporting Rip's equipment partners helps the ecosystem grow, which we certainly appreciate.

If you get the SS rack, bar(s), bench, etc, please post photos!

    Best,
    Ray

Sure thing. Took this right after my mom finished her second deadlift workout ever this evening. 2x5x58!

Thanks for being a great supporter Travis - I appreciate it!

If you're gonna buy new, I think these are the coolest ones you could get: York Legacy Iron Plates - Weightlifting | Rogue Fitness

Will do. Is there a complete SS package available with a discounted price? The bar, bench, rack, etc. That would be cool.

The equipment is provided by different companies, so there won't be a package.
