When i was squatting today, i noticed something quite intrensting. I don't know if i am the first, but when i start my first work set i put the belt as tight as i could and it was hard to take a big breath and hold it. I did the same for the second set and in the middle of the squat i was furting really bad. In the last work set i put the belt one hole losser and i was able to take a big breath and hold it(and not.furting during the set lol). If the belt is too tight can it really prevent the valsalva (because of it tight so i cant take a really big breath)?

As with most things in life, there is an optimal point that one can overshoot. If the belt is so tight that it’s preventing you from contracting your abs fully (or breathe) it’s too tight.
