Does squatting in moderately tight jeans increase weight lifted by adding compression to the knee and hip joints?

Yes, right up to the point where the ass explodes.

I deadlifted in jeans once because I had packed two shirts in my bag instead of a shirt and shorts. I thought about squatting but getting to depth on my second warmup set would have caused the jeans to fail spectacularly.

And they weren't moderately tight, as I had bought them a size bigger in the waist to accommodate my ass and thighs.

I asked the question as I have decided to train short sessions in my lunch hour with work jeans on.

    An excellent decision.

Wear shorts underneath and just slip the jeans off for the squats.

If Brent Carter, of Starting Strength Dallas fame, isn't too busy putting the finishing touches on his new gym, maybe he can come here and talk about his many escapades doing squats in his Barbell Apparel jeans. They matched especially nicely with his lifting shoes.

I was sure you were trolling, Coach Wolf, but I Googled it and these jeans actually exist. Now I am merely unsure if you are trolling.

Trolling, maybe a little, but not lying or being sarcastic or even exaggerating. Just ribbing my friend for his silly but true history of squatting in his jeans.
