Low (probably very low, like around 50%) weight, higher reps, short rest intervals, 5-10 sets or even supersets. The kind of stuff that will make the muscles balloon up but not really require extensive recovery. Basically the "maximum pump" stuff. Was thinking about it idly. Wouldn't it satisfy a lot of the goals of the light day training? Keep the muscles a little stimulated, make them get some movement in while they continue to recover, and getting increased blood/nutrient flow into them. Wouldn't it accomplish that?

If you are doing that with single joint exercises, sure that is probably fine, especially upper body. Lower body, you want to be a little more careful with if your goal is to get strong.

Not doing that at the moment, still squeezing the LP. It was just something I was thinking about based on what I'd read and was curious if anyone else had tried it.
