What an interesting interviewee. Look forward to following her MMA career. Besides athleticism, drive, a high energy level, and smarts, she has a lot of confidence and a positive attitude...like how she reframed a broken thumb as, I just hit so damn hard.

I would have liked to hear more about: she won her first MMA fight, a pro fight, after only a few months of fight training?!? What was her strategy? What was her opponent like? What techniques could she execute at that point? How did she win, just overpower/out-athlete the other gal?

When she stopped listening the advice to just run and started to incorporate strength training into her fight training, how did things change for her?

What is the relationship between strength training and punch/knockout power, in her experience? Knockout power is often thought of as either innate, like vertical jump, or else more about technique and knack than muscle power. Has she found that strength training has helped her build it?
