By good I mean if it’s doing something abnormal for the lower back posture and can cause demege,i learnd from you to NOT push the hips forward in the squat.
But maybe the vertical it’s another thing, and I can contract the glutes without pushing forward to much.
And for the other good I’m thinking of:
My thinking is if I can put more muscles to work I can generate more power.
Off course my glutes working even if I don’t want to at the rising from the bottom, but I find I’m not contracting them to the full potential(?).
Hope I succeed bringing my thoughts-English is not my primary language.
Do you mean just a standard jump into the air?
Or do you mean a box jump (jump up onto a box)?
Because a box jump might be the only time I've seen people NOT "triple-extend" for a maximal jump.
i.e. they're too worried about getting their feet up onto the box in front of them,
likely from the box being set way too high,
and therefore they cut their extension off too soon.
ok,
And from your experience and things you have to said about vertical jump in your podcasts and YouTube videos,it will not help me with the vertical jump either?
Take a closer look at vertical jumps,
Not a lot lock they’re hips, ankles and knees.
