    And here's how you can do the same thing with dumbbells, albeit for cheap instead of free. This method doesn't require adding a plate to the outside that will get pinched between your thigh and the dumbbell when setting up for pressing: YouTube

    Been waiting for something like this. Though now that I'm cutting weight for a bit I'm also hoping I'll slim back down into being able to do a proper chinup.

    My method is a bit more agricultural but its my machine.

    I bent some 3/16" rod into a hook that clips onto the eyelet for cable attachment and allows a plate to hang on the rear of the stack.

    I used to use wire cut bricks, weigh one, measure it in the right spot for the increment and smash it with a chisel.
