Anyone ever tweak something in their low back and notice it causing problems in unexpected sways? I screwed up something in my low back doing squats on Tuesday (entirely my fault, not the squat's). Pain didn't really set in until after the workout was done, but I've noticed I cannot achieve as much lumbar extension as the normal. Light squats went okay today, trying 80% deadlifts gave me increasing pain when I tried to unrack the work weight and decided it best to leave it. But what really surprised me was that my bench press suffered. Performance was significantly lower than expected, about 10 pounds or so lower. My only guess is that I couldn't arch as much on the bench as usual due to the back issue, and it brought me down. Just curious if anyone else has encountered something like this. I went in today pretty doubtful I'd be able to do the anticipated squat sets, but those turned out to be the only thing that went off perfectly.
