    Default Is surfing hurting my progress?

    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    Surf 2-3 hours a day or every other day. I’m stuck at 275x5 is surfing affecting my progress? Squat is coming along.

    The primary problem with surfing 2-3 hours a day is that you're fucking around all day. When you finally leave home, your training will improve.

    Thanks for replying. I missed it but glad I found it. I'm at 285x3 bench, 325x3 squat, 405 dead, and 165x3 ohp at 40 years old and 5'11 210lbs.

    What’s the objective here? You seriously thinking about quitting surfing so your weightlifting doesn’t suffer? Don’t know about you, but for me, lifting serves snowboarding, mountain biking, and general mountain life. I’ve surfed a few times, met a few hardcore surfers, and I can’t picture one giving it up so their lifting doesn’t suffer.
