    Well, the knee is done! Apart from a 9 on the pain scale while in post op recovery due to the lateral nerve being in spasm mode, the pain isn't particularly bad. Walking and standing is good. And being stronger is a true blessing.

    Hi John

    Thanks for the article. I'll be having a TKR in January and haven't been able to squat for about a year, DL is ok, Zerchers were ok earlier in the year. I dislocated the Tibia doing single leg press for "rehab" this year, so they're out too!

    I have some questions. What can I be doing now to improve my outcome? IS more strength going in really that helpful?
    Secondly, I love to compete in Powerlifting. Is it likely I'll be competing anywhere near my previous levels in 18 months with the right approach and programming?
