    Default Slippy horse stall mats

    Hi,

I've bought a couple of horse stall mats for my garage gym that are quite slippy, particularly when wearing my Do Win shoes which have a similar sole.

I've washed, wire brushed, and even put an electric sander to both the mats, and the bottom of my shoes, but the difference isn't significant.

    Any tips to resolve?

    Cheers,
    James.

Maybe put a piece of plywood over it? I skipped the mats and did two 3/4 osb and it is working fine

That's strange. My mats are definitely non slip. Where did you get these?

    Hi,

    It was this:

Heavy Duty Rubber Mats | Workout Rubber Mats | Polymax UK

I ordered 2, and 1 was considerably worse than the other. The company suggested 'washing in soapy water'.

Looks like plywood may be the answer, unless Polymax can offer an alternative gratis solution.

They've had my complaint email for 24hrs and no response so far....

    Cheers.

Try wiping it down with acetone.
