Lots of really skinny kids asking if they should cut weight lately. I wonder if they're trolling.

I have gained a fair amount of muscle and have clear cuts in my arms, shoulders and quads. I am pretty happy with my physique except I am carrying some fluff around my midsection and have no visible abs. Should I cut down to about 125 lbs and get defined abs before starting SS?

And should I start with the novice linear progression?
I have been training for about 8 months doing push/pull/legs split 6x a week but only focusing on hypertrophy and aesthetics.

Progress in my lifts are as follows:
    •Squat: 65lbs for 5 to 200lbs for 5 (parallel depth)

    •Bench: 45lbs for 5 to 135lbs for 5

•Deadlift: 110lbs for 1 to 220lbs for 1 (my weakest lift because of grip strength)
Update: I have decided to up my calories and do the NLP. Thanks everyone.
