Oh man, I was there for near a decade. Get a helmet man. It's not a fun place to meet significant others out there.

Could you please tell me where to find said video?

    That's the one.

The best general business advice (which Horn talks about here, but I'd heard it from many others) I've ever heard is "You don't presume what your clients can pay. You're not their financial planner. You're not their spouse. You tell them what you charge and they'll let you know if they can afford it or not." Of course, if you need to adjust your prices to make it work in that market, do it, but don't be afraid to tell someone a number.

I can't tell you how many times people have shocked me. People I would have never thought could "afford" me paying me $500 for a month of training, because it was important to them. And on the flip side, people who I know are wealthy don't believe it's important to them enough for the cost.

At the end of the day, it's not up to you what someone can and can't afford, so don't presume to understand their finances or priorities.

    Wow.
You must have learned how to deal with extreme stress and develop some resilience you didn't know you had. I'm sure you can teach us something about how not to break!

    Stay strong.
