    This explains why that first increase after a benchmark, whether it's 2 lbs or 5 lbs, always feels much heavier than it should.

    Disclaimer: I have limited experience with multi plate benchmarks but I just assumed it was Question No. 4 after Rip's First Three Questions, "Are you a pussy?"
