    This is such a pity.

    As I’ve witnessed before, I cherish my 35 lb plates.

    They look better than a 25 + 10.

    I know Bill Starr would throw almost random collections of plates onto his bar, just for “more weight” (if I recall the story correctly).

    But the multiplication of plates always reminds me of Sears sand-filled weight sets with 1 inch barbells.

    James,

    Personally, I have found Gorilla tape makes for a sturdy pair of 35's. Now don't confuse this for gorilla glue and accidentally put it in your hair!
