Should someone that has had surgery to retatch humerus to labrum from dislocation do power cleans? Thoughts on potential redislocation from the dynamic/explosive pull in power clean?

Thank you for your input and thoughts.

Are deadlifts a problem now? How long are you post-op?

I haven’t had any issue with Deadlifts yet. But I only have limited training with and never been good at Power Cleans. I have tried light Hang cleans with no issue but didn’t continue do to fear of the explosiveness associated withe cleans and the possible jerking on the shoulder joint putting it at risk of redislocating along with my lack of skill in the lift. I am over a year post-op.

    Thanks

Look at the shoulder anatomy and see what you think about how stable the glenohumeral joint is during a pull. If it worries you, don't clean.
