I understand what you are saying, but that isn’t the same as you being right. If someone runs as part of their training, then it’s an important part of their training. I don’t need to run, so I don’t, I prefer to get stronger and getting stronger is a good idea if I do need to run. It’s really not rocket science. I’ve actually already agreed with JR in his assessment of the necessity of running for the non-elite, more mechanised sections of the military.
