“Don’t skip leg day, bro!” If you’ve ever heard these words, chances are you’ve had small calves at some point in your life. Maybe you still do. Do you hide your calves whenever you get the chance, always opting to wear pants? One hundred degrees today? Well, being hot is better than shamefully exposing the toothpicks you call legs.

I used to do calf raises. I also used avoid wearing shorts.

Now, I squat and deadlift and wear 6 inch inseams.

I've "studied" that getting a profoundly heavier squat has caused both my calves and thighs to make my pant legs rather tight where once they were quite loose. That good enough, professor?

I knew calves were genetic because I have big round calves before I ever stepped into the gym. Progressive heavyweight is the only thing I can see that will get them strong. You have to get that Tibia wanting to grow.
