Any opinions on prowler brand vs something like this standard push pull high low sled? Am i missing something about the prowler that makes it a better conditioning tool?

I'd rather spend a couple extra bucks and buy from these guys, personally:

Splirging sounds pretty gross. Sounds like something one does on another's mom.

I'd definitely splurge on the prower though.

Why? I have no problem spending the money, but why prowler brand?

If you're gonna give the guy a hard time about misspelling "splurging," then at least have the attention span to spell "prowler" correctly, you anal wart.

I have one of these and I love it. http://www.strengthsled.com/

I looked at the prowler, but cost + shipping (freight) would put me over $500. I had the one I bought and delivered for $260.

It's modular so it breaks down nice. I bought a strap and belt from EliteFTS so a could pull it. Overall very happy with the product.

We have two EFS prowlers and two generic sleds with "H"-shaped bases. I use both interchangeably and don't notice a difference.

A sled is a sled, brah! (And weight is weight, right? Unless they are calibrated Eleiko. You get the point)

Seriously though, as long as the sled is a quality build, it doesn't matter the name on it. I can weld one just as good or even better than elitefts, and for a fraction of the cost. You don't risk bodily harm by getting an inexpensive one, unlike a cheap bar or power rack.
