What is accomplished by adding another warmup set?
Can I add another warm-up set into my Deadlift? Or add chins after? It will be a few weeks before I can get more weights.
I'm currently doing:
5x135
5x160
3x190
2x215
5x240 (w/belt)
I was thinking of doing:
5x135
5x155
4 or 5 x 175
3x200
2x220
5x240 (w/belt)
Or adding chins on that day.

Thank you for your thoughts!

What is accomplished by adding another warmup set?
Trying to make progress with my lift without being able to increase the weight. I believe my grip (both pronated) is my weakest point in my lift right now. The rest seems smooth.
I'm open to suggestion, and was asking before I did anything. I'll take whatever the advice is.
Thank you for responding, Rip! Love the pod!
What do you mean by progress? More strength?
Yes (strength). Grip will most likely be my sticking point without using a switch grip.
Strength is the ability to produce force. Increased strength quite simply means lifting heavier weights. Grip strength increases with training. You seem to have some basic misunderstanding of your situation, and you have lots of reading to do before asking questions.
