Default TRT contacts in the UK

Hi folks. 42y male. Still at about 80% of my NLP after 2 years due to injuries and, well, life with young kids.

Been reading quite a lot recently and listened to all the podcasts, more than once.

I’m getting the feeling that this may be a thing for me, especially as in the last 3/4 years my ability to recover from workouts has really dropped, I cannot get 8 hours sleep (6 is my average) and depressed libido.

Anyone has been through the experience in the UK and has good contacts/advice to get through the system, interaction with NHS and private providers?

    Thanks

The UK does not want you to have testosterone. Look elsewhere.

My NHS GP laughed at me (literally) when I asked about TRT.

My private healthcare provider have so far refused to cover it (not even testing T level) but they did put me onto a clinic called Optimale.

I’ve just sent off my first tests, I’ll let you know how helpful they are.

About what happened to me. BUPA/private health insurance won't cover as they don't cover aging-related conditions.

This has to be a joke. Do you have access to any private health care that will cover age-related conditions?

You won’t get anywhere on the nhs or trying to get it paid for by private healthcare.

You will have to pay direct to a private clinic

    These seem legit

TRT UK - Testosterone Replacement Therapy - Low Hormone Treatment - London TRT Clinic - Centre for Men's Health

BUPA is the main private insurer in the UK that most people get via their employer, so I wouldn't know of any others, but I'm pretty sure they don't. I guess in the UK private insurance is a top-up to the NHS, rather than a replacement.

So pretty much the same as the states. A clinic is our only hope as well.
