James Loehr’s New Mental Toughness Training for Sports is a classic and one I’ve found helpful. I once missed all three snatches because I was too mentally weak to overcome some stressful family news from the day before but it kept me from collapsing into a puddle of tears on the platform and go on to make all three C&J’s.

Other than skipping an ad for music, I do stay off my phone and keep it across the room, just plugged into speakers.
