    He's a hell of a guy and based on the feedback I'm getting from the podcast, he's motivated a bunch of people to make fewer excuses.

    This was such a beautiful conversation. Bruce, you may be "just an ordinary guy", as you phrase it, but it's the extraordinary fortitude and doggedness you displayed that pushed you beyond the ordinary. What you went through was not ordinary, and I think you are an inspiration.

    Ray, you really have a talent for asking the right questions and then listening actively, something a lot of the most seasoned podcasters don't know how to do.

    What stood out for me was what Bruce said about how the longer you do this, the more you get to have more conversations because of the rest periods 😄; how fulfilling it is - on a daily basis - to be able to witness and assist people doing more than they ever thought possible, and this is what makes being a part of Starting Strength more of a calling than a vocation; and the best part of the interview of all: the discussion of becoming a parent and how it changes you forever.

    Thank you for a wonderful 72 minutes, gentlemen.
