    Hello,
    info: 23 male 167 cm, 74 kg
peak: squat 105 kg, press 50 kg, DL 116 kg, bench 73 kg, power clean 54 kg
did the NLP like three times already because I was submitting my paper

First question: can I do the program if I am not on a caloric surplus and/or can't eat my minimum daily amount of protein duo to me being financially insecure right now, I am just starting out, and I don't live in the US (MENA)

Second question: in all honesty, is this program for Americans only, and by Americans I mean "privileged folks, first world citizen" ? Because truth be told, I can't sustain 160gm of protein daily plus other food

Third questions: I get an existential crisis after every session, like nothing matters types of shit, no matter how strong I am, only qualified people get hired, and I am better off saving that time to invest in myself (I am training to work in tech), how can I combat these thoughts??

This is not me getting a validation for quitting lifting, I was a scrawny kid who was sore all the time from sitting in front of a screen, and after getting committed to the program went from 63 to 78, felt fucking great, I enjoyed my being and the king of physical space around me! (doesn't make sense, I know)... I don't want to give that up and the same time I want to get a decent job, and listening to your podcasts you guys said that it's much easier to build muscles in your earlier twenties, that we are one "natural PES"

Love the podcast and respect to everyone, don't stop the comments from the haters "weekly INSTAHLLMENT" xDDD
p.s. articles I read are "The Importance of Continuing to Train Through Very Stressful Life Events", "should I stay or should I go?", "The First Three Questions" ...

don't be discouraged if you can't achieve them due to financial constraints. Adapt the program to your situation and focus on consistency. Remember, the program isn't exclusive to a specific group. To address post-workout existential thoughts, explore mindfulness techniques for balance.

The program is for human beings. There's definitely a disadvantage if you can't afford the equipment, nutrients, and free time.

Can you digest milk? A gallon of milk has 128g of protein and is the cheapest source of nutrients on the planet.

It sounds like you are under a lot of pressure from work / school / life, etc. If spending a few hours in the gym makes you feel like you are wasting your time, then ask yourself what benefit you get from sitting in front of a computer instead. Does doing more work actually get you a better job or make you more qualified? Who are you trying to impress?

This is about the 3rd idiotic post you have attempted to get on the board. I've approved this one to ask you what exactly in the hell are you trying to accomplish here? "Explore mindfulness techniques for balance"? The kid won't eat enough, he has the hallmarks of low-T, and you want him to explore mindfulness techniques?

You can't do the program if you are not recovering from it. You are not recovering from it if you are not eating sufficient protein/calories.

Did you not learn that sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do? This is just the math. And I cannot modify your appetites.

Then stop training too. And get some counseling.

Whenever you complete something difficult you will feel like this. It is not limited to physical tasks and the physical space around you. The feeling grows as the tasks become more difficult. Men enjoy this feeling so they like to take on difficult tasks.

Instead of staring at the food you must treat is as training. Putting food into your mouth is like lifting the bar with weights. You don't stare at the bar and tell yourself you don't want to do this. You pick up the food and put it into your mouth.

If you are limited to what you can eat, that is what you must deal with. Can you take on extra work to get more money for more food? Can you tutor other students? Can you work as an assistant to a professor? Anything?

There are diet and nutrition articles here by Robert Santana, PhD. Go to the Nutrition and Recovery forum and look near the top for Nutrition Position Papers. Also read other articles he has written.

This is my personal observation from watching many people: Desire to eat sugar may be correlated with stress and depression. If you stop eating sugar for some weeks your taste for it will decrease. At first the cravings will increase, but you can overcome it. It won't have any effect on stress nor depression but you will feel better and you will be able to eat more nutritious food.
