    Default Bad days

Had a few bad days. Thursdays workout was pushed to Friday, where I crapped it up. Friday's workout was pushed to Saturday, where it didn't happen. And today I missed the last rep on my last set due to poor nutrition; read below for details. Gotta get things under control.

    Default Day --

Friday, 2/19/10 (<--not counting this workout toward the 13 weeks)
    Squat: 255 (4/4/4)
    Bench: 87.5 (5/5/3)

Squat was pure suck. Dunno why--too many variables were off. So I did this weight again on Monday, with no real problems. Likely to resume 5# progression Thursday.

Bench would've been 5/5/4 if some kind soul hadn't spotted my last rep without my permission. Have to repeat that weight as well.

    Default Day 17

Four weeks are down. Nine to go.

    Monday, 2/22/10
    Squat: 255 (3x5)
    Press: 155 (5/5/4)

I don't think the missed rep (or the fact that my last rep on the squat was extremely slow) was due to anything but bad, bad nutrition. My diet is utterly blown. I pigged out all weekend on carbs then barely ate at all today. My intestines are in knots, and I got a low-bloodsugar headache during the press. I have got to get this variable under control.

I'll still move forward on the press next week.

You do have a pretty mean clean, press looks good too, althought i suspect you'll need to start microloading it soon. Good work.

By the way, how old are you?

Thanks. I'm going to squeeze out as many 5# increments as I can, but likely you're right.

    I'm 26. Yourself?

    Default Day 19

Two attempts to do the next weight:
Thursday 260 1x4 --I failed on the last rep and had to bail out.
Friday 257.5 1x3 --I failed on the fourth rep this time. Fucking sad/scary. I still did bench, but I'm back off to 240 Monday.

Dumbell Bench: 87.5 (5/5/4) I think the problem with the last rep was just form.
