I clocked myself on the chin warming up for power cleans. Didn't bite my tongue or chip my tooth or anything, though, just wounded my pride. May have left a mark, but I've got a beard.

ran around for like 40 minutes / 4 miles. kind of convenient that my natural "slow as hell" pace is like 10:00 on the dot.

So I have the sniffles today and I had the shits last night, so I wasn't feeling great. Just banged out the assigned workout, no assistance at the end.

set up wrong and was hitting the posts on the last AMRAP set and cut things off. light week, not going to do more, yolo, went home.
this morning: ran easy like 30 minutes/3miles.

last night:
softball doubleheader. won both games. had a lot of sprinting. played first base because I'm tall and can catch the ball. tweaked my hip catching a line drive inexplicably. felt like joint. It was odd - it was a soft line drive and I got in position in front of it and it tailed off to the left a little at the end and I juked slightly to the side to get it and my hip was like, TIME TO HURT. the pain wore off after a few minutes, though, and now I don't feel anything. ran like 15 minutes after the games just to get things moving and make sure things were okay. DOMS in the glutes from the sprinting.

Still straight rekt from softball. my glutes just got more sore yesterday and are still wrecked today. Should have done more sprinting practice in the leadup to this. I had like 9 at-bats in the double header and between 1 and 3 all-out sprints in each. Was not conditioned for that. Also a few too many swings - my obliques are so tender right now. It wasn't this bad last year, but we only played a single game at a time. Also we didn't do as well so I had fewer at-bats and less sprinting. Will completely skip deferred squat day, will press today and deadlift tomorrow.
recovery jog 3.7 miles. got some of the rust off.

abs still a little sore from softball, same with legs.
