In retrospect it might not have been the flu - while I had chills, fever, and aches in addition to respiratory symptoms, the wifing unit also caught it from me and didn't have fever or chills. So while it's not a cold (those very rarely have fever and chills), it's also probably not a flu (those almost always have fever or chills). So it's just some nasty flu-like illness. The cough has been lingering, it's a superficial cough rather than a worrying one, but it's been lingering and training with a cough is no fun at all, so I've been resting. I feel almost recovered.

the gym bikes cut out after thirty minutes, so i did it, walked around a few minutes, got a drink, did a second workout

I think after this I can get back to regularly scheduled programming. that was some rough shit there. bad lingering colds suck.

yesterday: rode bike 50 minutes. still a little sore from bench.
