Congrats Mark on the belt promotion!

Don't you have to be a resident of the state to set the state's record??
It seems this is correct. When I traveled to Ohio last May for a meet my lifts were shown in the Illinois state records. I actually just noticed this the other day.

It could well be. If so, I will ask at the CA Drug Free State Champions next month so as to better understand.

You humble me. My commitment was minor compared to your own. I only risked some relatively minor injury rather than death or permanent disability.

I thank you for your compliments nonetheless.

    Weight: 258.5

    5-5-5 Cycle.

    Seated Press: 95-5, 110-5, 125-12.

Cardio (GXP) and stretched. The vivofit seems to read heart rates low. Also I still can't get it to synch with my laptop to display HR.

Jujitsu was another adult class. The kids don't seem interested at the Wilmington YMCA so far. Their loss. As with last week, the class was mostly younger folks with a scattering of adults. One unfortunate 16 year old just can't seem to get his body to move the right way. Very silly, very sincere, and tries soooo hard. It was all about teaching tonight and somewhat welcome not getting drubbed for a change.

    Weight: 256.

    5-5-5 Cycle.

Deadlifts: 240-5, 280-5, 315-5. Lot of huffing and puffing after rep 3 of the last set.

    No cardio today, but stretched.

My sleep has been disturbed all week from strange-ass dreams. They are work related which I never had the like of before, including some scenarios that had to have originated 40 years ago. DB thinks it's just my brain purging itself of toxins.

Dreams, I retired almost 14 years ago from the NYPD after 30 years as a mechanic there. Seems like yesterday to me. I often dream I am at work there, and haven't done enough work to fill in my time sheet for the day( that was important for us ). In my dream I then realize it doesn't matter, I am retired. Just the other night I dreamt I was at work with my old crew and couldn't find my tool chest,so I just signed out and went home. This seems to be a recurring theme to my dreams.

I wish mine were that low level. But they loop back on themselves and I keep repeating the same thing over and over. With progressively less to work with.

    Weight: 258.

    5-5-5 Cycle.

    Bench Press: 150-5, 170-5, 195-7.

Wide Grip Pulldown: 210 for 3 sets of 5.

Cardio (GXP) and stretched. HR peaked at 133 bpm for 85% of MHR while lifting. Total session time was 26 minutes. Funny, I have all the time I need to rest between sets, and I find it hard to go more than 3 minutes. More self discipline doing nothing is in order I guess.
