    Working on speed and prep for the Highland Games with rounds of speed bag, caber lifts, box jumps, heavy bag, hammer swings, and medicine ball tosses.

    Music was Star Wars, Locomotive Breath, Ritual Fire Dance, Fame, British Grenadiers, and Bad to the Bone.

    Deadlift: 265 for 4 reps.

    Hip Belt Squats: Sets of 4. 95-185-235.

    The score was We Are the Champions, Mission Impossible, Semper Fidelis, Scotland the Brave, Scherezade, Fire Down Below, Peter Gunn theme.

    Performance phase @ 90% of 1RM. Sporting my United Planets Rebellion from Firefly.

    Squats: 270 for 3 singles. These were supposed to be doubles and I doubt any of them were quite to depth. My squat is sucking badly just now, and this session was more about regaining my courage than anything else.

    High Pulls: 155 for 3 sets of 2.

    My listening shuffle was Fanfare for the Common Man, William Tell Overture, Run Through the Jungle, Kashmir, The Good the Bad and Ugly, O Fortuna, Ritual Fire Dance, Tusk, Patton, Radar Love, Semper Fidelis, Overture to Ben Hur.

    Bench Press: 215. I got ambitious on this and tried with 5 lbs. more than the cycle called for. Tough, but it was doable.

    Push Press: 110.

    Hammer Row: 290.

    The sound track was Night on Bald Mountain, Takin' a Ride, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Procession of the Nobles, Gloria, We Will Rock You, Scotland the Brave, Darth Vader Death March, Up Around the Bend, Die Walkure.
