Thanks Oldster. The ranks may thin, but the hardy endure.

    Weight:266.

Took a walk around lake on the campus today. The illegal immigrant Canada geese are now arriving in droves honking like crazy as they make their water landings. This was a 44 minute walk burning 273 calories at an average HR of 103 bpm @ 67% of MHR and a peak HR of 110 bpm.

I can't wait for Summer to loosen it's grip here. It's been in the 90's and until today it's kept my heart rate higher than normal during training. I got up early and went scouting hiking spots I hadn't been to before. Found Cove Hollow Trail but DB was with me and I knew she couldn't handle that hike. October should be good for this.

It's only 85 here, and with 9% humidity so it feels cooler. As we have a large number of ex-Illinois residents here everyone has been commenting that we are cooler than Chicago

Yeah, NOW it is cooler. But just a few weeks ago you guys were still in shake and bake mode.

Finally found a contact for the upcoming highland games. Registered for them. It turns out I'll be able to get in some practice Saturday and do a wee bit of hurling the implements on Sunday.

I see what you did there. I hope you have a fun and safe competition.
