    Deload @ 70% of 1RM. Sets of 2.

    Squat: 210 for 5 sets.

Rack Pulls: 295 for 3 sets.

My right outer heel and ankle were acting up for the 2nd day, so I slathered it with Voltaren, wrapped it up with an Ace bandage, and laced up my side zip tactical boots that I bought at Big Five in SoCal before decamping back to God's Country. It's too bad there are no such stores nearby. They'd really give Dick's Sporting Goods and Academy Sports a run for their money with their prices.

Had to do some destressing this morning. Upper body emphasis to let my foot get better. Lotsa rounds of pummeling of the speed and heavy bags, interspersed with SciFit, rower, and medicine ball slams.

After a long hiatus, some Jujitsu Zooming again. What with being gone for the meet, getting the Kung Flu, and recovery from it, just wasn't in the cards. After the usual warmups of wrist stretches, striking drills, and blocking drills, Master Bellman went in to discussion of weapons of opportunity. Or what I have called improvised weapons. All of them consisted of mostly innocuous things around the house or office, except for some of the obvious potentially lethal things like knives in the kitchen and hammers or other tools. It reminded me of the twisted tea takedown seen by so many on the internet.

We finished off with some variations of escapes from grabs with counters like head butts, throat grabs, and takedowns after getting the attacker's hands off you.

    Preparatory Loading @ 75% of 1RM.

Squat: 225 for 5 sets of 4. Difficult.

Rack Pulls: 320 for 3. My back felt a little dodgy after the squats, but it these went well enough.
