    I put the belt on in the last warm up set before the work sets begin. And then, only for squats and deadlifts.

    Deadlifts: 3 sets of 4 with 305.

    Box Squats with Safety Squat Bar: 3 sets of 2 with 120.

    Music was Star Spangled Banner (Hendrix), Firebird Suite, Bad to the Bone, Bolero, Bond Theme, Heavy Metal, British Grenadiers, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Finlandia.

    Conditioning this morning was speed bag, box jumps, medicine ball slams, heavy bag with focus on liver punches, rower, and SciFit.

    A very interesting session of Jujitsu today. Master Bellman had developed a subsystem he calls Close Quarter Combat. The form of Jujitsu we learn and teach is mainly standup and medium distance attack and defense. This is very close, like within a foot or less. A lot of elbow strikes, bent arm blocks, and shirt X blocks. These are combined with quick strikes and jabs to the head and body. The stances and stepping are much different as well. I picked up a new approach.
