True, but it beats the alternative.

    Dips--up to 106#x5, Military--up to 145x5, ez bar curls--up to 155x5

Neck is 'tender' but not really painful. Going easy on the military to keep from buggering up things again.

When you hurt your neck do think it might have something to do with arching it back to squeeze out a rep? I've done this with overhead presses a few times and although I just took up bench presses again recently I seem to recall that I bridged back against the bench now and again and tweaked my neck then too. I don't know here, but am just making a suggestion about being aware of how you hold your neck. I find I have to be real consciuos of neck position when lifting these days because chokes, takedowns, and throws re-arrange my neck's vertebrae (along with the rest of them down stream from there) enough as it is. Good work though, keep hammering away.

I don't think that was the case, Mark. The bar had just passed my head and my head was back in place with the bar directly over my head with no arching during the rep. Sounds like *I* may be the puss here with all the kungFoo kickin' and wrastlin' you do..........!

I had a place in my neck right where it slipped out of place that had been bothing me to the point of keeping it stretched out on a regular basis. The Chiro I was going to couldn't seem to get it fixed beforehand, a different had to get it back into place afterword.

Extreme laziness made me make a jump up to the 120's in the DB bench.

    Db Bench--up to 120'sx3 sets of 12

    DB Military--up to 65'sx3 sets of 7

    Chins--10

Switched to dumbells for military. Can't get the worry out of my head over tweaking my neck with the BB military and just can't make myself go hard. My PR in the DB military is the 100's so I have a lot of work ahead of me over the next 6 months!
