Spitting wood is good therapy if you are angry with something or frustrated. A couple of hours with the axe and the world is all right again.

Could we work it out so I piss you off, badly, and then hand you my handy-dandy axe? Heh!

Getting sick today, terrible post nasal drip, a solid precursor to any sickness for me. Really a good day of lifting, as per usual when I'm coming down with something. Great power and low gear. Enjoying what I'm doing for my Monday medium day.

Thanks, SM. It seems a distant memory now! Today marks my third day of running a pretty good fever. To make it worse, my wife left work after only a few hours and made it home just to start puking and well...you know... She's got the flu. I suppose about the time I get over what I have, I'll catch her flu. It happened once before years ago. Worst month of my life!

My fever broke late last night. Decided I'd better get a lift in before my upcoming bout with the flu. Even after relatively little food, my lift went surprisingly well. Didn't do much overall, but I feel a bit better after a massive jolt of lifting relating endorphins!

Planned to do just CGs, but went ahead and supersetted hammer curls. Finished fairly quickly, but didn't keep a time. I was a little hesitant with the 355 single, after being sick, and without a spotter. It went up surprisingly well.

I guess if I'm lucky, I'll get Monday's lift in before I put on a performance like my wife has yesterday and today.

Thanks, skid. I lift in a garage gym where the other guy (baby bear, if anyone remembers!) benches as much or more than me at times. When 100% of the other lifters I see handle as much or more than me, it seems like no big deal.

Thought I was over this stuff. A little headache and my chest is full of crud, but feel much better overall. Except my strength wasn't good, nor my stamina. Cut off one top GC set, and all my working sets for curls and OHP. I planned to do five or six standing ab wheel reps, but after one, I thought the top of my head was going to blow off. Maybe next week.
