If Norman Rockwell were still alive, he'd be lining you up for a cover of the Saturday Evening Post. It's simply a question of what he'd capture you doing.

Seriously, that's as "American" a life as I've come across.

    Nice to know you!

Thanks, Browndog. My life has been very physical, no corner cubicle and lashed to a computer. It's been cut, split, haul, stack, and burn many cords of wood each year--raising our own food with even vacations being fairly physical, hiking the back country of different states.

    I can't imagine anything different.

Today was bound to happen. Woke up at 4:30 after going to bed at 2:45. Not even two hours of sleep. It's been happening more and more, just wake up for no reason with no hope of returning to sleep. I've been a zombie around here today, if there were neighbors close enough, I would have done my best imitation of The Walking Dead. Convincingly. My lifting was about what you'd expect.

Didn't even bother with Ab wheel work. Just went home pouting, although tired and rummy enough not to really care. I'll regroup and take a shot at 365x3x3 next Wednesday! I should delete the exclamation point just to show my lack of enthusiasm...

I’ve had days like that, nice work regardless. Ab wheel, probably I should do some; have you found that made a big difference in your lifting??

Already made it quite a bit past the 405 I had anticipated, with the SSB squat -- yay!
Hope sleep will go better in near future, so you can lift the weight you want to lift.

Are you off on another quest, Oldster? Humping caribou carcasses out of the wilderness?

I hope so too, but I'm starting to worry that his new SSB got the best of him.
