Wednesday 11.9
BP 4x 6x87 kgs
DBR 3x 10x35 kgs
Came into the garage not before 10.00. PM and I did a bumping bench session, for a change. The right shoulder is still not 100% so I figured it could be good to not put on so much weight. Also I wanted to see how multiple sets of 6 reps would feel. It was no problem getting the reps.

Friday 13.9
DL 2x120, 1x140, 7x140, 2x 5x140 kgs
Squat 2x 8x90 kgs
I had some pain in the neck already Thursday morning, which spread down to the right shoulder and arm. Also I had problems holding the bar, somehow the hands were tired. I did some manual work Thursday and Friday picking goods in the stock and maybe that was the reason. Don't know.

Monday 16.9
Incl. BP 3x 5x72 kgs, 2x 5x62kgs
Pullup 3x5 x10 kgs
Curls 6x 40 kgs
Strict upper body today. Rather sore in the shoulders from Friday still. Inclined for a change. Have not done much of that, but in the past when I went to commercial gyms, I did them after the BP, but then 60 kgs was a lot. This 72 kgs was not heavy, but as I do not do these much, I did not want to try any limits.
Oh, and curls. You believe that? I could start doing these at the end of upper body days, just to round off.

Wednesday 18.9
Squat 5x100, 5x110, 5x115 kgs
RDL 2x 5x100, 1x 6x105 kgs
Vertical leg press 2x 10x80 kgs, calves 1x 20x80
So then it arrived, the body-solid vertical leg press. Cheap stuff and defined as totally useless on most forums. Rip would not understand this, but I have this idea that I would need more volume on the legs in order to squat more and the press makes this easier (if it will work that is). 80 kgs was light and I'll put on another 10 kgs next time, and probably do three sets of 10. The press is no doubt a walk in the park compared to squatting, but I want to try this.

Saturday 21.9
BP 1x92, 1x97, 1x102 kgs (paused)
2x 5x92 kgs
Leg press 2x 10x90 kgs
Lying tric.ext. 2x 8x 43 kgs
The leg press is almost like when my son gets a new toy, it's hard to stay away from it. Now I reached the bottom on the last reps, the full range of motion on this machine.

Monday 23.9
DL 3x120, 3x140, 5x150 kgs (all from stop)
2x 8x130 kgs
Leg press 3x 10x85 kgs
Calves 2x 20x85 kgs
Some pain in the right side of the lower back during the deadlift, esp. between reps at 150, but during the pulls there was no pain at all. Came as a short flash when resetting. Then on the first back off there was some pain when locking out. When focusing on pushing the hips through and not arching the back, it went away. Leg press still easy, can add 5 kgs.

Wednesday 25.9
OHP 5x40, 5x50, 6x52,5, 8x45 kgs
PClean 5x70 kgs
High pull 3x 5x90 kgs
Abs 1x20
Right shoulder hurts again. Especially when reaching the highest point on OHP. But the pain seemed to go away some during the session.

Saturday 28.9
Squat 3x100, 3x110, 5x115 kgs
2x 5x105 kgs
Leg press 3x 10x85 kgs
Calves 2x 20x85 kgs
I still concentrate on form, and the squats went rather OK, only one good morningish on the last rep of the 115. Was a hectic day, repainting a room, cutting the lawn, just before squeezing in the training session, and making dinner inbetween sets. The soreness on next day was maybe a bit more profound than usually, hopefully a good sign. More like it is after a DL-training: feeling a bit numb and tired the next day, in addition to just sore.
I think I start doing calves using the barbell instead. The vertcial leg press sways a lot with only 85 kgs loaded, and then is not close to any limit. For the 3x10 presses it feels OK, and I can add to 90 next time. The frame itself weights maybe 10-15 kgs, so the total weight with 85 kgs of discs loaded is probably around 100.

Monday 30.9
BP 1x92, 3x 2x97 kgs (all paused)
2x 5x92 kgs
Pullup (10 kgs) 3x5
Late session again, 9 p.m. Right shoulder still not really OK, and even if it does not affect the BP directly, it still adds some uncertainty and caution which in turn does not make for a 100% input. Long pauses though.
