    Monday 11.4.22

    Squat 2x5, 1x6x95 Kgs
    DL 1x10x130 Kgs
    Abs 1x30

Suddenly some pain in the lower back/hip/leg left side. I think I might have twisted the back maybe on the presses yesterday.

It did not directly hurt when squatting or deadlifting but in some positions only, like when bending over forward tying the shoelaces.

    Monday 18.4.22

    BP 1x85, 1x90, 1x92,5 Kgs all paused
    3x4x85 Kgs
    Lying tric ext 2x10x41 Kgs
    DBR 1x12x46 Kgs

The 92,5 came up rather easily so I’m confident 95 Kgs would work. And 100 could be within reach. It has now been more than 5 years since the slipped disc, but this is without doubt progress. A year ago something happened in the left shoulder which put me back for almost a year, and I hope not to experience that again. The left arm is still weaker and it will be a wonder if ever get back to where I was, but I keep on trying. Funny thing is that the DBR is on the same level as it was when I could consider myself a big stronger than average. Never pulled a 46 Kgs dumbbell more than 12 reps.

    Wednesday 20.4.22

    Squat 2x7x90, 1x10x90 Kgs
    RDL 2x10x100 Kgs
    Abs 1x30

Still some pain in the lower back/leg when bending forward but no pain during the training. There was some pain in the upper right leg when warming up and this was worrying as it is the artificial joint. But this disappeared when putting on more weight.

    Sunday 24.4.22

    OHP 2x3, 1x4x55 Kgs
DB OHP 4x5x21 Kgs Left hand fail on each set
Pull ups 3x5, chin ups 2x5
High pulley lat ext 2x15x12,5 Kgs
High pulley wood choppers 1x30x35 Kgs

Really had to fight to get the fourth rep on the overhead press. Funny thing that the left arm was good for almost 5 reps on each set on the DB presses. Like it was programmed to fail on the fifth each time.

I might have had some bar path issue on the press. The last work set felt heavy at the point when half way up. Same thing on the first back off set. I almost got worried there was some nerve issue. But then on the second back off set all was back to normal.
