    2/20/13

    Front squat 148x3x5
    RDL 113x8x3
    DB Row 40x12x3
Push Ups 20x2, 16x1 (with 3 real pushups in each round)

    Prowler...it was imaginary today.

Oh my goodness! I don't know how some of you lift in the freezing cold! I had to work out in the morning today, due to a work retreat for the rest of this week. At 38 degrees, I was so cold and the bar was freezing! Trying to keep my sweatshirt covering my hands while front squatting did not work very well.

The RDLs are so much easier now that I have straps! And I look so hardcore now. That is really important, of course.

The other thing about lifting in the morning was it was so hard to stay focused. I already have a big problem in getting in and out quickly. It only happens if I put on a grouchy face, keep my eyes down, and just stay very curt with anyone who tries to talk. That happens about once in a blue moon. I do like talking to people, but I am struggling to get my work done too.

This morning was unreal! I set up on the "dark side" of the gym where people hardly ever choose to work out. When the next class came in, not only did people set up on the dark side, one lady set up her box jumps right behind me, then plate sit ups on the other side of me, and a guy just had to do his pull ups on the bar RIGHT next to me. I am all for sharing space, but there were at least 12 other pull ups stations open and not attached to my lifting rack.

Because of my imaginary conditioning today I have to wake up and push a prowler at 5:30 . The only time I can make for it.
Are you in a xfit gym? Sounds annoying.

Melody, I am in a xfit gym. =)

And right now, I am pretty sure that I am the one and only person there not on xfit programming.

Good for you, getting up at 5:30!!! I'll have to RUN sprints today. Oh the horrors!!!

Wow, great stuff Teach! That is a dandy FS! My wife likes RDL's too, they really are a great movement. I see your push ups are looking good!

Thanks, Oldster! It is pretty great to FS again.

    2/24/13
DB Bench 25x10x2, barely got the last couple of reps
    SSB 205x5
    DL 208x5

I was a little nervous about this workout, and I certainly took my time before those deadlifts.

    Then conditioning! My "fave".
    50 KBS
    The 5 rounds of
    10 cal row
    10 push ups
    10 goblet squats
    10 ring rows
    Finish with 50 KBS

Thanks! I sure hope you are being a great patient. =)

    2/26/13
    DB Bench 25x10x3
DB Press 10x5x3, boy moving up from 5# feels like such a jump! This shoulder has just got to start doing its job.
    SSB 180x5x5

    Conditioning
    5 min warm up
    Airdyne 7 rounds 30 sec sprint/1:30 easy
Cool Down 10 min This is in bold on my programming, almost like Jordan thinks that I would even entertain the thought of skipping the cool down. Me? Cut the conditioning short?

I did all 10 minutes today...

Ten minutes of cool down would drive me nuts. I won't even warm up more than 30 seconds and cool down is the "easy" part of my last sprint!

I know! I have been know to add up 10 min of cool down like this: minute to walk to the water +minute to pack my bag+8 min to talk to someone while standing, not sitting. That counts, right? Sometimes I even foam roll.
