    2-22-19 I was suffering from afib so I went for intensity rather than volume.
    Bench 135x5, 15x5, 175x5x2, 175x4. I did not try the last rep. I did not have a spotter and I was not sure I would make it.
    Deadlift 135X5, 225X5, 285X5, X4. Ran out of gas on the last rep.
    Pull downs 100x8, 140x8x3, 160x4,

    Thanks Jerry. I think the Beta blockers I am taking don't help ut my Afib is under control. It is better than the alternative.

    2-25-19 – Left shoulder stiff
    SQ 135x5, 205x5, 235x5x3 – squats felt good
    OHP 115x5, 135x5x3, 145x3 Left Shoulder felt weak.
    Pull downs 140x6, 160x6x2

    3-18-19 – return from vacation

    Light Squats 135x5, 225x5x2
    Bench 135x5, 15x5, 175 x5, x4x2. Had a spot on the last two sets. I needed it because I failed the fifth rep. Left shoulder is giving me trouble.
    Dead lift 135x5, 225x5, 280x5, 295x3. Failed the fourth rep on the dead lift.

    5-8-19
    SQ 135x5, 225x5, 250 x5x2, 250x4. Need to maintain focus throughout the set. Knees hurt before the work out. They got a bit better.

    Bench 135x5, 155x5, 175x5x3 the last set with a spotter. The spotter made it easier by just being there.
    Dead Lift 135x5, 225x5, 275x5, 285x5x2 double overhand grip. Tried to ease into the work set rather than to take too big of a jump.

    OHP 115x5, 135 x5, 145x5x2, 140x5, 140x4
    Dumb bell flys – 40x4, x5x2. Tried a 6th rep on the last set but failed.

    Nice work Pete. Talk about crunchy sounds, my right shoulder sometimes sounds like Rice Crispies when any type of overhead work like painting or changing a light fixture. But one good thing is there is no pain.

    Hi Pete,the sling shot is an elastic band/strap that goes on your arms and across your chest when you bench,it does assist. Supposed to help if your shoulders are sore.
