    Mon., 8/19. weekend's over. everybody's at the gym.

    Bench: 45x..., 95x8, 135x5, 165x5, 185x2, 205x2, 225x2, 185x5,5.

    CGBP: 135x10,10,10. So crowded, there's no room to pace and stare at the clock.

    Tue., 8/20. 225.8#. not crowded, but all the DL platforms are full.

    F Sqt: 45x..., 95x8, 135x5, 185x3, 225x3,3,3.

    RDL: 225x5,5,5,5,10.

    Thurs., 8/22. 223.8#.

    OHP: 45x..., 95x8, 135x5, 155x3, 177.5 x 5,5, 175 x 5,3, 142.5x 10. Trying to push the weight increases while keeping volume moderately high. Those two top sets were grindy almost every rep. That's good, right?

    Low Row: 150x5, 160x5, 170x5,5,5. time to start reconsidering this supersetting thing. or just tweaking it a little. I just get so bored between sets sometimes.

    Default Elk Bacon Cheeseburgers

    1 pound ground elk
    1-2 slices cooked bacon, minced
    salt, pepper

    Combine all above ingredients, shape into 4 patties.
    Sear on high heat till nice & brown (maybe 4 minutes?).
    Flip and apply one layer of swiss cheese.
    After 1 minute, cover, turn off heat.
    When cheese is melted appropriately, they are done.
    Should still be a rich pink in the middle.

    Sun., 8/25. 228#. Fair amount of sodium and carbs was ingested yesterday. Belt is tight.

    SQ: 45x..., 135x8, 225x5, 315x3, 345x2, 375x1, 300x5. pretty good, but I was expecting my massive bloat to make things smoother.

    Close-Grip Banch: 135x10,10,10.

    Wide-Grip Banch: 95x10,10,15. This is a thing, right? It must be a thing, because I did it.
    Back 'flat' (still pack the scaps), index fingers just outside the ring, use my perky nipples to bounce the bar up - just kidding, everything is very slow and controlled.

    Face Pulls: 30 x 25, 25, 25, 25.

    Rotators: 5 x 20, 20, 20, 20.

    DB Curlz: 20x10, 25x10, Hammer style 20x10.

    SLDL: 315x5.

    Rows: 225x8,8,8. straaaps.

    Calf Raises: 150x5,5,5,5,5. people just keep leaving plates on it, so...


    supplemental protein shake, then out with friends for burgers & fries.



    Mon., 9/02. 228.4#. steak, brussels sprouts, chips, guac, and something new called a Chaffle (basically, cheese in a waffle iron).

    OHP: 45x..., 95x8, 135x5, 160x3, 180x5,5 - second set went really well, good stretch reflux. 177.5x4, 175x5, 145x9.

    eggs, cheese, tomatoes, nuts. Man, I need to go meat shopping. (walks downstairs, pulls venison stew meat and flank steak from the freezer) There, shopping's done.

    Wife went shopping and picked me up a steak! ham & cheese with pickles, a little pizza. Aaand watermelon.
