    1x3 100kg
    1x1 130kg
    1x1 150kg
    1x1 170kg PR
    1x5 147.5kg
    1x4 147.5kg

    Bench
    2x5 bar
    1x5 60kg
    1x3 80kg
    1x1 100kg
    1x1 110kg
    1x1 122.5kg
    1x5 105kg
    1x3 105kg

Walked in the gym at 1401,jumped in the car at 1443. Which was as well since I only had 45mins to train.
squat PR and a bench PR so I am happy. Tho my legs were still feeling Saturdays run, so I maybe would have got more
    on the squat.

    Deadlifts
    2x5 60kg
    1x3 100kg
    1x1 130kg
    1x1 150kg
    Interrupted by firecall
    1x1 110kg
    1x1 140kg
    1x1 175kg
    1x5 140kg

    Press
    1x5 bar
    1x5 50kg
    1x3 60kg
    1x2 75kg
    2x5 65kg

The old shitty bar at work finally broke, so was replaced with a low quality Olympic bar, better than what we had, but still. A country club donated some old plates to us, 2x25kg,4x20kg, 4x15kg. We will need to buy some smaller plates, I had to tie the 2.5kg ones to the bar to get the right weight on.
Deadlifts were interrupted by a wee fire in a tenement close,so had 30mins away. But still managed the heavy single. Warm up pressing was complicated by the lack of little plates. But I made do. I'm gonna just force my press up in the same way as my bench, hitting singles and doubles and then backoffs.

Overall progress has been good recently, a couple of shitty sessions, but that's to be expected. Its mostly down to my youngest sleeping slightly better I think. My recovery powers are not so taxed.
ill keep doing what I am until it stops working I think.

Yeah you're not far at all, im in Newton Mearns.
Im short. 5'7" or so. And hovering round 83-85kg, which is around 180-185 lbs I think. Im older than you tho. Im 33 on Tuesday.
where do you train at? There are a few good gyms in Paisley if im not mistaken. I was watching your progress on the TM quite closely,
I was keen to do it myself but I cant always be rigid with training days, so will give it a try in the future. its working well for you so far.

    Pull ups +5kg
    8, 8, 5.

Had an exceptionally busy weekend running the kids places and seeing their gymnastic shows. Didn't get a sleep after my nightshift on sat morning either, and my two little ones decided not to sleep for more than 2 hours straight since then so im dog tired.
The heavy singles felt like the edge of my strength, I am hoping its just lack of sleep rather than reaching my limits, but if I have then so be it, ill find another way!!! Maybe drop my weights to my last triple and hit a 5, then see how long I can drag it out.
In other news I managed to convince the guys at work to get cheap power rack. It arrives Thursday so looking forward to building it.

Crappy session. Felt crappy coming into it, had a busy work day not much sleep.i expected better. My press particularly was weak.
We need to get the 5kg and 10kg plates at work too.

Ill have a think over the weekend and maybe change what im doing around, I've hit some reasonable singles that I can program off, but I also need to step up my running. So lots to go over before Monday.

So spent the weekend thinking a little about what im gonna do program wise, I kept coming back to the Texas Method, which id like to run but always find an excuse not to. I follow a few others who do it, and everyone knows its a solid way to go. I am of a mind to regret doing something than regret not doing it, so i am going to do it now whilst I am only 33. After all it wont kill me and it cant get me pregnant.

Also took my bodyweight on Saturday night, 82kgs, in uniform! Fuck. I need to eat more. my waist has come in, so ive been recomping slightly, but by accident not design. Ill need to keep on point with food.

    Currently rep maxes look like:
    Squat:172.5kg x1
    Deadlift:175kg x1
    Bench:125kg x1
    Press: 75kgx2

    26th May 2015
    First session Texas Method

    Volume

    Squat
    2x5 bar
    1x5 60kg
    1x3 100kg
    1x1 120kg
    5x5 140kg

    Bench
    2x5bar
    1x5 60kg
    1x3 80kg
    5x5 100kg

    Power cleans
    6x3 60kg

Squatting went ok. I think I've maybe started volume day too heavy, but saying that's I was only resting 3-4 mins between sets, and got them all ok. The first set was harder, I think my stance had been too wide. Brought it in and it all went smoothly.
Benching was again ok, 2-3 minute rests between sets. Got them all. Felt tired after all that volume. Its been a while since I've put this kinda tonnage about. Fucked about with cleans at the end. Mostly for form really. I want to start doing these.
All in all decent session. Im sore today, we will see how it leaves me for Saturdays intensity.

FYI the short rest periods were because I didn't get to the gym early and wanted done at reasonable time
